Issakaba: The Return

In the early 2000s, Ebube and his mystical armed-vigilante force, the Issakaba Boys (inspired by the real-life Bakassi Boys), successfully rid their communities of armed bandits and dark occult sorcerers. A quarter-century later, Nigeria faces a completely evolved breed of insecurity. Lawlessness, systemic rot, and high-tech criminal syndicates have plunged communities into terror. Realizing that conventional methods are failing, community-based security initiatives call upon a weary, older Ebube to pick up his machete and charm-bound weapons once more. Ebube returns to a society vastly different from the one he left, forcing him to assemble a younger, energetic generation of vigilantes to battle heavily armed warlords and a mirrored, highly ruthless antagonist who matches him step for step.
