Daniels was nominated for Revelation of the Year – Female at the 2017 Best of Nollywood Awards and for Most Searched Actress at the 2021 Net Honours. She faced a 2017 cyber-crime allegation involving a scam with intimate photos, which she denied; the impersonator was arrested, and she was exonerated.
EARLY LIFE
Regina Daniels was born on October 10, 2000, in Lagos, Lagos State, Nigeria. Her mother, Rita Daniels, is also an actress and film producer, and her father is Jude Ojegwu. She was raised in Asaba, Delta State, with five siblings: three brothers and two sisters. She attended Hollywood International School and later studied Mass Communication at Igbinedion University, graduating in 2018. In 2024, she also earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Universidad Azteca in Mexico.
CAREER
Daniels began her acting career at age seven with her first film, Marriage of Sorrow, earning 10,000 Nigerian Naira. She debuted as a child actor in Miracle Child (2010) and starred in Dumebi in School (2014) as Onyeure, Merry Men 2 (2019) as Kenya Obi, and Hakeem: Seeking Justice (2025) as Yewande. She has appeared in numerous Nollywood films and comedies, including Python Girl (2015), Plantain Girl (2015), Amara Queen of the Jungle (2016), Shekira: The Selfie Queen (2019), and others like Clash of Spirits (2021), A Little Favour (2022), and Love and Trust (2023). As a producer, she worked on The Jericho, Twins Apart, and Tears of Ojiugo. In January 2019, she was appointed Youth Campaign Coordinator for Atiku Abubakar's presidential campaign. In February 2020, she launched a magazine named after herself in Abuja.
PERSONAL LIFE
Regina Daniels married billionaire businessman and politician Ned Nwoko in 2019, becoming his sixth wife. The marriage drew criticism due to Nwoko's age and allegations of him sponsoring her wealth, which were widely reported. The couple has two sons, born on June 29, 2020, and June 29, 2022.
