Last Breath

William, a wealthy businessman dying of a terminal illness, lives in his mansion with his housemaid Jane. His pain makes him cruel. Meanwhile, Ada, thrown out of her aunt's home after a false accusation of seduction, moves in with her friend Vero. Through Vero, Ada gets a job at a local bar. There she spills a drink on William, who berates her. She insults him back. William begins frequenting the bar to torment her, his visits becoming a daily harassment. Ada finally confronts him, expressing her frustration. Taken aback, William apologizes and they reconcile. She learns about his illness from his housekeeper when she tries to visit. Overwhelmed at first, she commits to being with him. She helps reconnect him with his aunt, whom he had pushed away. As his health declines, Ada becomes his primary caregiver. They grow deeply attached. William's condition worsens. He refuses hospitalization, wanting to die at home. Ada and his aunt respect his wish. During a birthday party, he collapses. Afterward, he updates his will, leaving his enterprise to Ada. He expresses his love and asks her to marry, start a family, and name a child after him. Ada stays by his side as he passes peacefully in bed, holding her. The film ends with a black screen and credits, leaving Ada grieving but carrying his memory.
