Iyabo Ojo

Alice Iyabo Ojo is a Nigerian actress, business woman, film producer and director, she hails from Ogun State Nigeria and his was to Mr Felix Ogunri and Mrs Victoria Fetuga, her acting career began making her debut in the movie satanic, after registering with the actors guild Nigeria in the year 1998, be she features both in English and Yoruba Movie, she had received numerous awards,in 2015 she she won Woman of the year at the African Mouthpiece award.

CAREER

Iyabo Ojo began her acting career in 1998 after participating in a drama group in secondary school. She joined the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) and secured her first role in the English-language film 'Satanic' that same year. Her debut in a Yoruba-language film was in 2002 with 'Baba Darijinwon'. In 2004, she started her career as a film producer with her first production, 'Bolutife'. She has since appeared in over 150 films and produced more than 14 of her own, including 'Bofeboko', 'Ololufe', 'Esan', and 'Okunkun Biribiri'.

PERSONAL LIFE

In 1999, at the age of 21, Iyabo Ojo married a Lagos-based film marketer and took a brief hiatus from her career. She has two children from the marriage, a son named Felix Ojo (born 1999) and a daughter named Priscilla Ajoke Ojo (born 2001). She is now divorced from their father. In May 2011, she launched the 'Pinkies Foundation', an NGO that caters to the needs of children with special needs and the less privileged.

EARLY LIFE

Alice Iyabo Ogunro was born on December 21, 1977, in Lagos, Nigeria. Her father, Mr Felix Ogunri, was from Abeokuta, Ogun State, and her mother was Mrs Victoria Fetuga. She is the youngest of three children, with two older brothers. She attended National College in Gbagada, Lagos, and later studied Estate Management at Lagos State Polytechnic, where she received a Higher National Diploma.
