Storyline
Naeto lives a stable life with his two children, sixteen-year-old Vida and younger Abel, and Momiwa, the devoted housekeeper who has raised them for ten years. Kiki vanished during severe postnatal depression that made her fear harming the children, and Naeto, consumed by work, missed the signs and assumed she left over financial strain. Momiwa stepped in to become the children's mother in every way, managing the household and earning the family's deep loyalty. The equilibrium shatters when Kiki resurfaces, having tracked Naeto via LinkedIn, and demands a second chance to mother her children. She moves back into the house and immediately treats Momiwa as a subordinate who must vacate the master bedroom and eventually leave the home entirely. Vida rejects Kiki's overtures and refuses to return from boarding school. Abel clings to Momiwa, and the situation worsens until Kiki orchestrates Momiwa's arrest on unclear charges. Naeto searches desperately for Momiwa and encounters Dr. Bamidele, Kiki's former therapist, who reveals that Kiki left with him for Abuja and only returned after seeing Naeto's financial success on the news. Naeto realizes Kiki's return is transactional, not maternal, and in a furious confrontation he accuses her of lying about her reasons for leaving and exploiting the children. He reveals he knows about her affair and departure with Dr. Bamidele, and that she abandoned the children a second time by having Momiwa arrested. Naeto declares Momiwa a better mother than Kiki will ever be and orders Kiki to leave the house by morning. Kiki threatens retaliation but faces expulsion. Naeto tracks Momiwa through a graduation dress she sent for Vida, finding her working at her own shop. He brings her back to the family, where she is welcomed by the children. In a quiet moment Momiwa tells Naeto that his family gave her the love and belonging she never had, asking where else she would go.
