CAREER
Biodun Stephen is a prominent Nigerian filmmaker specializing in romantic drama and comedy. She began her filmmaking career in 2014 with The Visit (which she produced), earning two nominations at the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA). She has directed, produced, and written numerous films, often drawing inspiration from personal experiences and naming projects after central characters. Her notable works includes, The Visit (2015), Picture Perfect (2016/2017), Glimpse (2017), Tiwa’s Baggage (2017), Ovy’s Voice (2017), Tough Love (2017), Seven and Half Dates (2018), All Shades of Wrong (2018), The Ghost and the Tout (2018), Ehi’s Bitters (2018), Looking For Baami (2019), Joba (2019; also acted as Deaconess Frances), Breaded Life (2021), Progressive Tailors Club (2021), Aki and Pawpaw (2022), Sista (2023), Different Strokes (2023), Muri & Ko (2024). She continues to produce content through her company, Shutterspeed Projects, and maintains an active presence with her audience via social media and her YouTube channel (BiodunStephenTV).
