Biography

Abimbola Akinrinbola is gaining recognition as a screenwriter in the Nigerian film industry. Her major breakthrough came as co-writer (with Biodun Stephen) of the four-part romantic drama series Roses and Ivy (2024), starring Uche Montana. The series premiered on Prime Video in December 2024 and received a nomination for Best Writing in a Movie/TV Series at the 2025 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA). Her other works include, Leaked (2022), Ndeeri (2023), Kadara (TV Series, 2023–2024).
