Tayo wakes beside Bimpe, founder of Harvest Haven, and presses her for a committed relationship. Bimpe refuses, fearing a deeper bond would ruin their arrangement. At the office, manager Tola accuses accountant Moses of losing receipts while a lawsuit threatens the company. Tayo vents to his friend Kaidy, then meets Omolara, Bimpe's estranged daughter who works at Harvest Haven. Omolara, eager to prove herself, botches a key client meeting but accepts a ride from Tayo, sparking an unexpected connection. When the harvester breaks and crops wither, Tayo helps Omolara draft a proposal under the fictitious name Sprout House to win a major contract, and their work deepens into romance as Tayo tries to end his arrangement with Bimpe. Bimpe confronts Tayo at his home and demands a relationship or nothing, and he chooses nothing. She later arrives at his apartment and finds Omolara there, exposing their secret affair. Omolara flees, devastated by the betrayal of both her lover and her mother. Flashbacks mediated by Bimpe's sister reveal that Bimpe gave up Omolara as a young student and her parents raised the child, leaving Bimpe feeling replaced and Omolara craving maternal validation. At Tayo's apartment the truth erupts: Bimpe admits the affair and Omolara cuts ties with both of them. Tayo is left alone and throws a pillow in anguish. Meanwhile the company crisis peaks as the harvester stays broken, the lawsuit looms, and layoffs threaten the staff. Bimpe, moved by her sister's counsel, sends a tearful voice note to Omolara apologizing for years of coldness and admitting she was made to feel unfit as a mother. Omolara hears the message and begins to reconcile with her mother. She later visits Tayo to thank him for facilitating the reunion, and they share a tender farewell. The Sprout House proposal succeeds and Harvest Haven wins an extended contract with major flour, noodle, and brewery manufacturers.
