Six months earlier, Roxy prepares to meet a high-paying client despite her boyfriend Boni's vehement objections. He issues an ultimatum that if she leaves, their relationship ends, and she walks out anyway. In the present, Boni has been missing for six months and Roxy, now going by Rebecca, works as a live-in cook for a man named Mike — who is actually Boni suffering from amnesia after being kidnapped, robbed, and beaten on Third Mainland Bridge. Mike has no memory of Roxy or their past, is engaged to a woman named Lisa, and lives with her in a comfortable home. Roxy recognizes him immediately but he treats her as a stranger, leaving her devastated. Roxy's mentor Evangelist Yetunde and Boni's friend Tunde search tirelessly for both of them, involving the police with little success. Roxy recounts her own ordeal to Yetunde: she was drugged by a client, abducted to a remote forest in Kwara state, and escaped through what she calls divine intervention. In parallel, Mike's fragmented memories resurface during therapy sessions with Tunde. He recalls being abducted on Third Mainland Bridge, losing six months, and during that time living a simple life with a woman named Rebecca in a modest compound, attending church, falling in love, and promising to marry her. He also remembers the song she sang constantly, 'You are Yahweh.' As Mike's two identities collide, Lisa confronts him about his emotional distance, discovers his connection to Rebecca, and ends their engagement. Mike realizes Rebecca and Roxy are the same person and that he left her behind when his original memories returned. Mike, now fully aware, desperately searches for Roxy. He drives to the compound where they lived, asks the security guard and neighbors, and learns she left the previous day. He tracks her to a gated area where she sits with Evangelist Yetunde and a younger man under a canopy. He calls out her name, approaches her, and asks to touch her face and hold her.
