Anthony Woode

A Ghanian, writer, actor, who is known for his versatile roles in the Nolly and Gallywood, he gained prominence for his role in the Ghana TV series inspector Badiako, Anthony woode was born on September 26 1991, he attended the university of professional studies Accra where he attained his diploma in public relations management and go a bachelors degree in communication studies,his writing credits includes, bitter sweet wine, God is gone,he is an award winning actor, in 2022 he won best actor at the supreme academy award and in 2021 he won best actor in a leading role at the Ghana movie awards, and in 2019 he also won the golden movie awards Africa.

EARLY LIFE

Anthony Woode was born on September 21, 1991, in Lagos, Nigeria, to Ghanaian parents, William Woode and Beauty Woode. He is the only male child among five siblings. He spent part of his childhood in Nigeria, where he attended the Divine Touch Preparatory School, before his parents relocated to Ghana. He continued his secondary education at Accra High School, and at the University of Professional Studies he studied Public Relations Management where he attained his diploma and a bachelor's degree in communication studies. He also studied acting, scriptwriting, and modeling at the Ghallywood Academy of Acting.

CAREER

Anthony Woode attended his first audition in 2009. He made his film debut in 2013, playing the lead role in the movie "ANNOUNCEMENT." He has since featured in numerous Ghanaian television series and films, gaining popularity for his versatile roles in Nolly and Gallywood, and for his role as the 21st-century heroic character "Inspector Bediako" in a legendary television investigative drama series. He is also a writer and art director, with writing credits including 'Bitter Sweet Wine' and 'God is Gone'.

PERSONAL LIFE

Anthony Woode is known for his love of cooking and is affectionately nicknamed "Chef Woode" by close friends.
