In Love With Your Man, Melinda built an all-female company after a former lover drugged her and stole her assets, which left her deeply distrustful of men. She hires Susan as a personal driver, and when Melinda's car breaks down Susan calls her boyfriend Kelly, a mechanic, to help. Kelly saves Melinda from a kidnapping attempt, and his kindness and competence intrigue her despite her hostility. Melinda then aggressively pursues Kelly with money, property deeds, and a lucrative mechanic position. Kelly resists because of his loyalty to Susan, so Melinda drugs him and stages a compromising situation. Susan discovers the betrayal and violent confrontations erupt between the two women. Unknown to Melinda, Kelly secretly plans to flee with Susan and sells every asset Melinda put in his name to fund their escape abroad using stolen passports.
