Chigozie Stephanie Alichi

Chizzy Alichi-Mbah (née Chigozie Stephanie Alichi), born in Enugu, Nigeria, is a Nollywood actress and model.Enugu State University agriculture engineering grad; debuted in Magic Money (2010). Known for Akaraoku (2016), Idemmili (2014); married Chike Mbah welcomed son Kenechukwu.

EARLY LIFE

Chigozie Stephanie Alichi, popularly known as Chizzy Alichi, was born on December 23, 1988, in Ndiagu Nkwubor Nike, located in Enugu East Local Government Area of Enugu State, Nigeria. Chizzy Alichi is the youngest child in a family of three. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT).

CAREER

Chizzy’s foray into Nollywood began in 2010 when she joined the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN). Her first role was in the movie “Magic Money”. Her major breakthrough came in 2016 with the movie “Akaraoku” (Hot Akara), directed by Yul Edochie. She is also known for her role in 'Idemmili' (2014).

PERSONAL LIFE

Chizzy Alichi is married to Chike Ugochukwu Mbah, a businessman, whom she tied the knot with in December 2019. Chizzy gained widespread admiration when she built a mansion for her parents in 2017. Tragically, Chizzy lost her father in December 2023. Chizzy Alichi has recently shared the joyous news of her pregnancy and welcomed son Kenechukwu.
