A Rose For Asher

Asher, a wealthy tech CEO, gets drunk at the bar where Rose works to support her family. In A Rose For Asher, she helps him home and the night ends with a marriage proposal caught on video. The next morning Asher denies everything, blames the alcohol, and puts her out. Rose goes back to her job only to have her boss deduct a customer's unpaid bill from her wages. Her father then throws her out of the house when he learns she is pregnant. With nowhere to turn, she takes the case to a women's rights group, and a lawyer wins a mediation order that forces Asher to shelter her until a paternity test. The forced cohabitation breeds daily conflict, and Asher meets Gold after his car breaks down, starting a relationship that sharpens the tension. Asher's company accounts freeze when a fraud investigation hits, and Gold leaves him the moment the money stops. Rose goes into labor and delivers a son, and Asher sees the baby's resemblance to his own father so he accepts paternity before the DNA results arrive. The court dismisses the case and releases his frozen assets back to him. He apologizes and offers her a permanent home, but she refuses because she plans to rent a modest space for the restaurant she has dreamed of. Asher responds by gifting her a fully furnished house with a driver, a cook, security, and a plot of land for the business. Overwhelmed by the gesture, Rose accepts the gift and they begin a new partnership. Six years later Asher and Rose are married and celebrate their son Banks' birthday. Asher credits Rose for bringing him happiness, a financial breakthrough, and a renewed sense of purpose. He praises her for avoiding baby mama drama and building a successful restaurant. He presents her with a framed chef portrait, affirming their enduring love and shared success.
