Man Of My Dream

Kiki lives with her skeptical friend Bisi, who calls the orange seller's dreams of a wealthy man delusions and nags her to focus on her market trade. In the street, a man named Basil bumps into Kiki and makes clumsy advances. She bluntly rejects him and says she already has a man even if that man has not yet appeared. A car accidentally knocks Kiki down in an upscale estate. The driver, rich businessman Nicholas Osita, rushes to help her and gives her his business card. His volatile fiancee Vanessa watches without trust. She returns her engagement ring and accuses Nicholas of being unfaithful. Kiki recognizes Nicholas as the man in her dreams, so she calls him with a story about needing work. Nicholas employs her as his house-help, and she moves in determined to win his heart. She makes herself indispensable by planning surprises, sharing his love of football, and engineering a night in which Nicholas believes they slept together after he passed out drunk. Kiki soon discovers she is pregnant and tells Nicholas, who accepts responsibility and gradually grows closer to her. He cooks meals for her, buys her gifts, and moves her into the main bedroom. Vanessa returns, apologizes to Nicholas, and demands that he end things with Kiki. When Vanessa learns of the pregnancy, she begs Nicholas to make Kiki abort the baby. Nicholas refuses and tells Vanessa he cannot see a future with her. In a confrontation, Nicholas declares his love for Kiki and says she makes him feel alive and that marriage with her feels natural, unlike his toxic relationship with Vanessa. Nicholas formally introduces Kiki to the master bedroom as his woman and the mother of his unborn child. He says he has never been more sure of anything and asks her to marry him. Kiki joyfully accepts and tells him she loved him even before he started loving her. The couple embraces, and Nicholas holds Kiki in the room that will now be theirs.
