Orire faces constant rejection in his job search and is under intense pressure from his landlady to pay ten months of overdue rent. He starts to realize his own habits—specifically his self-sabotaging speech—might be the real obstacle. With Precious's encouragement and mentorship, Orire prepares for a new interview. While preparing for the interview, Kola and Orire make up and put their differences aside. By practicing confidence and letting go of his victim mentality, he secures a job offer, marking his first major victory in Lagos. With Precious's encouragement, Orire helps her address her own unresolved pain regarding her father. This leads Precious to reach out to her father to seek closure, mirroring Orire's newfound courage to face the past. By the end of the film, Orire not only secures a steady job but also gains the confidence to pursue a romantic relationship with Precious, finally asking her to be his girlfriend. His journey from a state of "zero balance" to one of growth and hope is complete.
