Stan Nze

Stanley Ebuka Nzediegwu AKA Stan Nze is an award winning Nigerian actor, filmmaker , fashion enthusiast, married to Blessing Obasi and their marriage is blessed with a child, he bagged his bachelors degree from the Nnamdi Azikiwe university and after his studies he ventured into receiving training at the Stella Damascus Arts Foundation, Stan featured in the movie Murder At prime suites as a bipolar seria killer in 2013, that was his first major role that brought him to landlight, and Rattlesnake, amongst other numerous movies. He is the brain behind The kids can act project, to mentor and coach young actors.

EARLY LIFE

Stan Nze was born Stanley Ebuka Nzediegwu on May 15, 1989, in Lagos, Nigeria. He is the first of five children. His father, Sabastine, is a businessman, and his mother, Chika, is a fashion designer. Stan studied computer science at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, where he received a bachelor's degree. After university, Stan trained in acting at the Stella Damasus Arts Foundation.

CAREER

Stan Nze began his acting career in 2009 with a minor role in the television series Private Sector, followed by guest appearances in other TV series. He secured his first major role in 2013 as a bipolar serial killer in the movie Murder At Prime Suites (MAPS). Nze is best known for his portrayal of Ahanna in the 2020 remake of Amaka Igwe's classic, Rattlesnake. In 2016, he received his first major nominations as a leading actor for his role as David Nyama in the Judith Audu-produced movie, Just Not Married, which screened at the Toronto International Film Festival. In addition to acting, Stan has also worked as a producer on projects such as Bad Drop (2015), Colourless (2016), Anita (2017), Mute (2017), Within the Shadow (2017), Split (2020), and Everybody Wants Alvin. He is also the convener of 'The Kids Can Act Project', which he started in 2014 to train and provide opportunities for the next generation of Nollywood stars.

PERSONAL LIFE

Nze married actress Blessing Jessica Obasi on September 11, 2021. He is passionate about impacting knowledge and nation-building. Their marriage is blessed with a child.
