Storyline

Ikemefuna returns home with his wife Christal and their daughter Somto, and the evening turns strange when he catches his late father, Chief Ikenga Oji, standing on the porch and whispering, 'Bury me again.' The sight makes him freeze, and then Somto collapses unconscious on the living-room floor. Her parents rush her to the hospital, where a doctor stabilizes her. While they wait, Ikemefuna receives word that sea pirates have hijacked the ship carrying his company's largest consignment, a blow that threatens to ruin his business. In Bury Me Again, the family's peace does not return as Somto recovers. Christal confides in her friend Jane that she suspects a spiritual attack, and soon after she sees the words 'BURY ME AGAIN' scrawled in blood on the dining wall, though no one else can see it. Plates shatter on their own, Ikemefuna is found unconscious on the front lawn, and his filling station burns down in the middle of the night. A pastor is summoned to pray over the house and casts out a foul spirit. A spiritualist warns that an angry, unforgiving spirit from the past is after the family and must be appeased within seven days. The ghost of Chief Ikenga Oji appears directly to Christal and insists that she tell her husband to bury him again. Under mounting pressure, Ikemefuna confesses to a priest that before his father died, he made a covenant to give him a befitting burial as an Ozo title holder once he became financially capable, but he forgot and broke that promise. Traditional elders and a ritualist attempt to appease the restless spirit, but the rituals fail and the hauntings intensify. Desperate, Ikemefuna vows to borrow money from any legal source to fulfill the burial rites, though he has no idea where to find the funds. A long-lost business partner then transfers 600 million naira into his account, and Ikemefuna has the funds he needs.
