Mama Bimpe jolts awake from a nightmare of her daughter Adebimpe being buried alive, prompting her to seek prayer from a pastor who senses looming danger. Meanwhile, Adebimpe endures escalating cruelty from her husband Bowale, who accuses her of bedwetting and forces her to dry the mattress, then rudely dismisses her mother's visits. Defying medical advice, Bowale discharges Adebimpe from the hospital and later threatens the pastor who tries to intervene, while Adebimpe herself severs ties with her mother, warning her never to visit again. Unbeknownst to them, Bowale has struck a sinister deal with a ritualist, who feeds Adebimpe a concoction that turns her into a 'walking corpse' destined to bring wealth for one year before dying, sealing the pact with a pot containing their hair and a goat's hair. Empowered by this dark transformation, Adebimpe becomes a spectral thief, appearing suddenly at a politician's meeting to snatch a bag of 100 million naira, which she delivers to Bolawale on command. The ritualist feeds her more of the concoction, and she collapses, her body growing more lifeless. Throughout these events, Mama Bimpe had entrusted a staff member, Itunu, with blessed water to sprinkle around the house, but Adebimpe abruptly fired all the staff before it could be used, severing that line of spiritual protection. The Bolawale hovers over the unconscious Adebimpe, calling her name as she lies motionless, the room thick with unanswered questions. The screen fades to black with text hinting at a second part, leaving her fate—and the struggle between her mother's faith and her husband's greed—suspended in an eerie cliffhanger.
