EARLY LIFE

Babatunde Aderinoye (born 8 December) is a Nigerian Nollywood Actor, Broadcaster, and Businessman. He is a native of Abeokuta in Ogun State, Nigeria. He is Yoruba by tribe and a Christian by religion. He attended Kings Kiddies Nursery and Primary School in Panseke, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Folarin Dalley International College, and Alaba Lawson Royal College in Abeokuta. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Ibadan in 2015. He completed his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in 2016, serving in Osun State. His passion for acting began early in church drama at Glorious Life Pentecostal Church during his J.S.S. 1 days, where he participated in Monday night rehearsals despite initial parental concerns. During his university years at the University of Ibadan, he developed an interest in broadcasting and worked with the university’s Diamond FM.

CAREER

Tunde Aderinoye began his professional journey in broadcasting. During university, he worked at Rockcity FM and later with Osun State Broadcasting Corporation during NYSC, followed by Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation as a sports analyst after service. He transitioned fully into acting in 2016–2017 after receiving formal training at the Odunlade Adekola Film Production Academy, where he enrolled around January 2017. Before joining Nollywood, he honed his acting skills in his local church drama unit through various stage plays. He is known for his versatility across genres in Yoruba-language films, often appearing in blockbusters streamed on Africa Magic and YouTube. His roles highlight strong delivery, charisma, and dedication to quality storytelling. He has acted alongside notable Nollywood actors and actresses including Jim Iyke, Mercy Aigbe, and Odunlade Adekola. His notable film works include, My Wife, My Trouble (2022), Last Weekend (2024), MAYA (2025), Ori Ite Oba (2025), Irora Ife (2025), Ikamodu (2025), Alatilehin (2024), Ninu Aye Keji (2024), Asiyan (2024), Idan Gan Gan (2024), Amiwo Eda (2024), Alhaja Modina (2024), Ojo Ikomo (2024), Bi'Atiko (2024), Oro (2024), Ese Ara (2024), My Birthday (2024), No Fury (2024), Beast Of Two Worlds (Ajakaju) (2024), Lakatabu (2024), Irawo Meji (2023), Afamefuna (2023), Romoke's Demon (2023), All Na Vibes (2023), Kidnapped (2023), Olawura (2022), Lorile (2022), and many others. He is also involved in entrepreneurship alongside acting and has expressed interest in possibly returning to broadcasting part-time. PERSONAL LIFE

Babatunde Aderinoye is not yet married and has no children but is currently in a relationship with his girlfriend, suspected to be Hadiza Abubakar, a Nollywood actress. They have not confirmed their relationship.
