Iyke Osoka

EARLY LIFE

Iyke Osoka was born on April 18, 1992, in Calabar, Cross River State. His hometown is Item in Abia State, reflecting his Igbo heritage. He developed a strong interest in theatre and storytelling during his university years at the University of Calabar, where he built a foundation in performing arts and media. His background combines theatre training with a transition into film production and screenwriting.

Iyke Osoka is a dynamic storyteller with experience in stage management and film production. He works across writing, directing, producing, and content creation, with a focus on compelling narratives. Key works include, Writer and Director of Mi Yi Dima (2024 short film), Writer of Oja (2025 short film), Director of Redemption of Jane, Writer/Contributor on Osawumikani (Strength of a Woman) (2022).
