EARLY LIFE
Nasboi, whose real name is Lawal Michael Nasiru Bolaji, was born on March 13, 1992, in Osun State, Nigeria. He spent his formative years in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. As a child, he displayed a natural talent for entertainment, often entertaining his family and friends with jokes, impressions, and mimicking voices. He also had a strong interest in music and participated in school activities. He completed his primary and secondary education in Port Harcourt and later studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Uyo.
CAREER
Nasboi initially pursued a career in music but struggled to gain recognition. His breakthrough came with comedy skits, particularly his viral impersonation of Nigerian singer Davido, which earned him the nickname 'Low Budget OBO.' He then became a successful content creator known for his humor, acting, character switching, relatable storytelling, and mimicry. He transitioned into acting, appearing in Nollywood productions. After gaining fame, he revisited his music career, releasing popular songs such as 'Umbrella' (featuring Wande Coal), 'Lover Boy,' 'Overthinking,' and 'Small Money.'
PERSONAL LIFE
Nasboi is not married and keeps his romantic life private, focusing on his career and personal growth. He is known for his playful and friendly personality and maintains strong friendships with other comedians and entertainers.
