Forever Found

In Forever Found Adewale brings his fiancée Lilian to meet his mother Big Mummy. The meeting turns hostile when Big Mummy forces Lilian to kneel and favors Adewale's childhood friend Fejiro. Lilian decides to stay in the house for three weeks to win approval. She endures relentless chores, verbal abuse, and a salty soup rubbed in her eyes. Fejiro moves in and becomes Big Mummy's preferred companion, deepening Lilian's isolation. Later Fejiro is abducted by men over a debt. While running an errand Lilian helps a stranger named Clinton pay off his creditors. Shortly after Lilian disappears and her phone goes dead. A ransom demand for three hundred thousand naira reaches her friend Judy. Adewale files a police report and realizes his mother's cruelty has placed Lilian in danger. Then Adewale confronts Big Mummy and declares he will marry Lilian with or without her blessing. He recounts Lilian's unwavering financial and emotional support during his lowest moments, shaming his mother's prejudice. Big Mummy is shaken and begins to grasp the consequences of her actions. Lilian is rescued and returns to the house where Big Mummy offers a raw tearful apology. She confesses her fear of losing her only son and admits her hostility stemmed from insecurity. Adewale apologizes for failing to protect Lilian and vows to set firm boundaries with his mother. Lilian agrees to reconcile on the condition of mutual respect and healthy limits.
