Chika Agwuike

Chika Agwuike is a Nigerian actor, screenwriter, filmmaker, and voice-over artist prominent in the Nollywood film industry. He serves as the creative director and head of Wonderful Productions (also known as Wonderful Ideas). He started his creative journey in Enugu, Nigeria, writing, directing, and acting for a church theater company. Following initial success in Enugu, he moved to Lagos, spending a year performing in stage plays before fully transitioning into film to control and tell his own narratives. As a director and producer, he has focused on strong, relatable narratives. Notably, he won the TECNO Short Film Competition for his project In a Pod, which was filmed entirely using a mobile device. Agwuike has appeared in and contributed to several high-profile Nollywood titles such as Progressive Tailors Club (2021), Chief Daddy 2: Going for Broke (2022), Introducing the Kujus (2020), The Knot (2022), In the Deep (2020), Beautifool (2021), and Quagmire (2019).
