Love By Numbers

In Love By Numbers, Philip marks the tenth anniversary of his wife's death while he pursues a high-stakes acquisition of Grayflow Limited through C-Los Limited. His friend Raymond has two daughters. Camila facilitates an important meeting with the owner of Silos Limited, and the deal advances. Philip confides his loneliness to Raymond, and Raymond suggests his other daughter Adugo, who is also called Ada. Despite the significant age gap, Philip seeks Raymond's blessing to court Adugo because her presence awakens something no woman has in a decade. They marry, but Adugo remains emotionally distant. She secretly maintains a relationship with her boyfriend Xavier, and together they scheme to manipulate Philip for money. Meanwhile Philip's business faces a crisis when Grayflow is allegedly sold to a family member without honoring his right of first offer. Camila confronts Philip over his marriage and reveals her unrequited romantic feelings. Philip gently rebuffs her and defines their bond as sibling-like. Adugo's behavior becomes erratic when she throws a party at Philip's home and disappears overnight and demands money. Philip discovers her cash withdrawals for Xavier and confronts Adugo with evidence of her deceit. She defiantly rejects the marriage and leaves the house. Xavier's duplicity is exposed when Adugo finds him with a pregnant woman named Barbara, revealing he used her for money. Camila accepts Philip's rejection and moves on. Philip turns to Uru, his loyal housemaid, and confesses he knew of her involvement in the scheme but still loves her. He offers her a genuine partnership, and she chooses to stay. Adugo returns her keys to formally end the marriage while Philip's business associates secure a restraining order against the fraudulent Grayflow sale. Philip and Uru share an intimate moment and commit to a future together. The film closes with them ascending the stairs.
