EARLY LIFE
Oluwabukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, widely known as Kiekie, was born on June 20, 1990, in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. She pursued higher education at Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication. Her passion for fashion led her to further her studies at the London College of Fashion, specializing in tailoring, couture, and pattern making. She also holds a Master’s degree from the London School of Business and Finance. Kiekie began her career as a fashion stylist, working with well-known Nigerian fashion brands.
CAREER
Kiekie transitioned into media, initially as a dynamic producer and host of a fashion show on GoldMyne TV, and later as a presenter on Spice TV. Her breakthrough came with creating comic skits on social media, quickly gaining a large fanbase. In February 2025, she launched 'The Kiekie Unscripted Experience'. She has collaborated with top brands, starred in Nollywood productions, and hosted major events. Kiekie is the owner of Accost Collection, a Lagos-based women’s clothing brand. She also has her own YouTube channel, KieKie TV, where she tackles societal issues and shares fashion-related content. As an actor, she has featured in cinema movies and on global platforms like Netflix (SIMPLE LIE, ILE OWO) and Prime Videos (LOL NAIJA). Her contributions have earned her numerous accolades, including the Trendupp Award for The Force of Instagram (2022), Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) for Best Online Social Content Creator (2023), YouTube Creator of the Year at the 2023 Pulse NG Awards, 2024 Top Content Creator of the Year on FORBES AFRICA, and Force of Influence at the 2024 Trendupp awards.
PERSONAL LIFE
Despite being a public figure, Kiekie maintains privacy regarding her marriage. She and her husband welcomed their first child in 2022. She is known for her friendly and lively personality and occasionally invites fans to raid her closet.
