Storyline
Oluwalonimi Arike's empire is built on sheer self-confidence, scorning the prayers of her assistant Zainab and the gratitude her friend Juliet offers to God, while she lectures her brother Tunde on his failures with biting disdain. In this 'Si Olorun' story, her world cracks when a pedestrian dies under her car, and though a lawyer secures her release, a shocking 500-million-naira embezzlement charge soon strips her of her job and freezes every asset. Scrambling for funds, she falls prey to conmen who steal 10 million naira for a fake land deal, and the grief of losing her sister Mololuwa in a crash on the way to a vigil drives her into alcohol's numb embrace. As alcohol-induced hepatitis takes hold, nightmares of hooded figures invade her sleep, and a bitter outburst at Zainab's faith ends in collapse and hospitalization. There, a vision reveals her own pride as the true enemy, while unseen to her, Abeni's coven rituals begin lifting Tunde from poverty. Fresh from the hospital, a humbled Arike steps into a church, pouring out a confession that mingles anger with a plea for mercy. A phone call follows, clearing the false debt and offering a promotion, but the true shift comes as she sits to write a letter to God, voicing the questions that remain unanswered yet choosing a fragile trust. In that act, the chaos settles into a quiet determination to seek a peace that once seemed impossible.
