The Dog

Storyline
MZ is a small-time, low-level drug dealer trying to survive on the frantic coastal streets of Mombasa, Kenya. His life takes a sharp, dangerous turn when his employer hires him for a seemingly simple task: drive a young high-profile call girl, Kadzo, to and from her assignments. He is given strict, explicit instructions not to get personally involved with her. Against his boss's orders and Kadzo's own warnings, MZ falls deeply in love with her and becomes obsessed with rescuing her from the sex trade. Desperate to secure a quick fortune to fund their escape to a faraway land, MZ tries to cash in on a tip about a major drug deal. The heist goes horribly awry, plunging MZ into a lethal spiral of escalating debts, deadly double-crosses, and a gang war between Mombasa's most ruthless crime matriarchs.
