40 Sticks
40 Sticks is a tense and suspenseful mystery film that effectively mixes survival horror with deep psychological pressure. Storyline
While on transit through a wildlife reserve, a prison bus carrying ten hardcore criminals—nine of whom are on death row—crashes on a dark, rain-soaked night. Stranded in the middle of nowhere, the surviving prisoners and wardens escape one nightmare only to enter another. They quickly realize they are not alone: they are being hunted by the wild beasts of the forest and stalked by a ruthless, unseen executioner lurking in the shadows. Armed with nothing but a single box of matchsticks, they must burn through them one by one to keep the darkness at bay. As every extinguished match brings another brutal death, the survivors must figure out who the killer is before the last stick burns out.
