EARLY LIFE
Seun Kentebe (full name William Oluwaseun Omobolanle Adebayo Amatare Edwin-Kentebe) hails from Adagbabiri in Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State. His father was the late Commodore E.O. Kentebe and his mother, Mrs. J.O. Kentebe, is from Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State. He is the first child of his mother’s three children and the ninth of his father’s thirteen children. He was raised in Lagos by his mother (a widow) alongside two siblings. He attended primary and secondary school in Lagos and earned a degree in Business Administration from the University of Lagos. As a child he was shy. His first acting experience came in primary school when he was randomly selected to play the Judge in the play The Incorruptible Judge. He initially aspired to become an architect but struggled with Physics. During university he focused on becoming a rapper and also trained in Shotokan Karate (reaching orange belt).

Seun Kentebe is a Nigerian actor, writer, voice-over artist, content creator, and former rapper/musician with a steady career spanning stage, film, television, and radio. They married in 2014. He has spoken about the lessons of marriage, including tolerance, prudence, and selflessness, noting that it involves one’s partner and children. He describes himself as an ambivert who enjoys alone time, traveling, reading, and making friends. He is Christian.
