Xavier Ywaya

Xavier Ywaya is a prominent Kenyan actor, commercial model, and creative storyteller known for his extensive work in East African television series and films. Ywaya began his acting career in theater, spending a year and a half studying school set books and sharpening his craft in stage acting. His first major public theater breakthrough was with the Drama Academy in a sold-out, two-man stage play titled "As Humans," alongside actor Bilal Mura. He later transitioned into on-screen acting, building a diverse portfolio of complex characters. Culturally conscious of his heritage, Ywaya has noted that portraying historic Kenyan figures and legends, such as Tom Mboya and Lwanda Magere on stage, remains among the highlights of his creative path. Ywaya has featured in several high-profile Kenyan television series and cinematic releases like Single Kiasi (2025), Jiji (2024), Igiza (2022), Kina (2020), Nganya (2018), The Yellow Dress (2025), Kienyeji (2024), Murder Camp (2023), and 40 Sticks (2020).
