Someone Like You

Philip's sister EB faces jail for stealing wigs worth 3 million naira from her boss Bimbo. Unable to repay the money, Philip agrees to Bimbo's scheme: assume the identity of Felix Okafor, complete with a car and driver, to seduce Bimbo's friend Sierra and break her heart. As Felix, he meets Sierra while she shows a property and sweeps her off her feet with extravagant gifts and romantic gestures. She falls deeply in love, unaware of the ruse. Bimbo watches gleefully as the plan unfolds, while EB remains in hiding. Philip begins to feel guilt as he genuinely falls for Sierra, conflicted by his mission to hurt her. At a birthday party for their friend Lucy, Bimbo's scheme climaxes. Felix publicly humiliates Sierra by revealing the setup, exposing their relationship as a cruel joke. She runs away in tears and later confronts Bimbo, who admits the revenge stemmed from Sierra's past interference in Bimbo's own relationship. Sierra's world crumbles, realizing she was used. Tormented, Philip confesses everything to his sister EB, who then approaches Sierra to explain his true motives and genuine love. Sierra reads a heartfelt letter from Philip, forgives him, and they reunite, embracing and professing their love. She learns money is not everything and accepts Philip for who he is. In a parallel reconciliation, Sierra apologizes to Bimbo for breaking up her engagement, and Bimbo apologizes for the cruel scheme. The two friends mend their relationship. Philip and Sierra drive to the beach, happy together, as the credits roll.
