Love Found Me

Stanley returns to his house and discovers his ex-girlfriend Clarita living in the living room at the invitation of his sister Nneye. Five years earlier Stanley spent a week in the hospital and received photographs from his own phone that appeared to show Clarita with other men. The images were sent by Tari a woman who harbored jealousy over their relationship. Stanley believed the photos and ended the relationship with open hostility. Now he forbids Clarita from using his kitchen or utensils and demands she leave the house. Clarita maintains she never cheated and packs to go but Nneye persuades her to stay. During this time Clarita reconnects with an old friend and meets Ken a real estate agent who helps her search for an apartment and begins to show romantic interest. Stanley follows the advice of his friend Igor to make the house unbearable so Clarita will flee. He accuses her of prostitution and reminds her of a night when she slapped him. Clarita confronts Stanley with evidence she has kept showing photographs of him in bed with Tari that were sent from his phone during his hospitalization. Stanley examines the images and recognizes they are fabrications created by artificial intelligence. Both realize Tari manipulated them out of envy and a desire to have Stanley for herself. Stanley's demeanor shifts and he admits he still loves Clarita. He begins to make amends cooking breakfast and seeking conversation but Clarita remains guarded because she has already secured an apartment through Ken and plans to leave. The confrontation reaches a peak when Tari appears at the house during a gathering and openly maligns Clarita's character. Clarita challenges Tari and demands the identities of the men in the fabricated photos. Tari confesses she orchestrated the deception out of envy. Stanley horrified by the revelation violently ejects Tari from the house. Freed from the lie Stanley pursues Clarita to her bedroom and declares his enduring love, refusing to leave.
