Omobowale 'Mobo' Ajayi builds Mobo Logistics on a radical hiring philosophy that welcomes ex-convicts, recovering addicts, and widows. When investor Adebayo rejects her expansion pitch because he considers the workforce a liability, Mobo defends her stance. She reveals that an ex-convict once gave her mother a second chance, an act that made Mobo's own life possible. She hires Bisade, an elderly driver recently released after thirty years in prison, and he shows quiet devotion by bringing her food and aspirin. Kola, a bank accountant managing the company loan, presses his advances, but Mobo distrusts him because of deep abandonment issues. On her birthday, the women she rescued from prostitution, addiction, and homelessness surprise her with tearful gratitude, calling the company a home for castaways. That night her car breaks down in a dangerous neighborhood and thugs harass her until Bisade, on his day off, intervenes and reveals his prison past to scare them off. He fixes the car and drives her home, where they bond over his three decades behind bars and his lack of family access. Mobo delivers a keynote at a Second Chance fundraiser crediting the unnamed ex-convict who saved her mother, and the speech goes viral, prompting Adebayo to reconsider the investment. Bisade gifts her a keychain inscribed Hope, Faith, Time for her belated birthday. Kola confronts Mobo and challenges her to give herself a second chance. At the same time Mobo discovers Bisade unconscious at his home and rushes him to the hospital, where doctors diagnose severe anemia. As a universal donor, Mobo gives blood. While fetching his clothes, she finds a notebook addressed to my baby girl bearing her name and photographs confirming Bisade is her father, the man who vanished when she was a child. She confronts him at the hospital and accuses him of abandonment, but he denies knowing her. Mobo has him fired and barred from the office.
