Kenny, suffocating under his father Chief's shadow, confesses his love to Eka, the widow of his late twin brother Taiwo. The maid Uche interrupts, nursing her own ambitions to marry Kenny. Chief pressures Kenny to marry Eka, citing tradition and the need to keep family wealth intact. Chief toasts to his sons, and warns Uche to focus on her work, thwarting her schemes.
