EARLY LIFE
Amarachi Amusi was born on 25 July 1995 in Enugu State, Nigeria. She grew up in a family of four daughters with parents Mr. and Mrs. Amusi, who were not wealthy. Her mother worked hard selling goods and hawking to provide for the family and ensure they attended good schools. She attended Good Learning School in Gbagada, Lagos, and Federal Government College, Enugu. She graduated from Madonna University in 2016 with a degree in Medical Anatomy and later received an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Real Estate Management from Prowess University, Delaware, USA, in July 2023.
PERSONAL LIFE
Ashmusy has openly stated that her demanding career has negatively impacted her love life. She has said that because she is very busy, she does not have enough time for the men who approach her and believes that without her fame, she would likely have been married by now. She remains single and keeps most details of her romantic life private. She is very close to her family and often shares moments with them on social media. She is a lover of God, enjoys eating, travelling, dancing, acting, and watching movies.
CAREER
Ashmusy is best known as a social media influencer and content creator with over 2.3 million Instagram followers. She began creating comedy skits and emotional/tragic skits in 2018 after completing NYSC, partnering with Nonso Ada Jesus. She gained mainstream attention with her breakout role as Amarachi in the 2019 movie The Alter Date. She has since expanded into full acting and released her own YouTube movies. As an entrepreneur, she is the founder and CEO of: Magic Revive Limited (premium hair, skincare, and beauty products) Diamond Crest Homes (real estate brokerage) Ashmusy Hairline and Ashmusy Empire (fashion and beauty) She is also the convener of the Ashmusy Foundation, which empowers aspiring entrepreneurs by helping them establish businesses and providing tools and knowledge.
