Paid In Full

Captain Rufus acts like a strong military officer but treats his wife Chioma very badly. He wants her to obey him in everything. He goes to the supermarket with his friend and angrily tells Chioma to pay a debt of 70,000 Naira to Samuel right away. In the car, he brags to his friend about showing his power over her. Later at Chioma's tailor shop, Rufus sees a male customer and gets jealous. He makes the customer leave and tells Chioma to change her business to only women and children. He promises money for a bigger shop. At home, Chioma watches a romantic movie to relax but Rufus gets mad. He says it gives her bad ideas, smashes the remote and bans movies. Next morning, Rufus criticizes how Chioma looks, gives her money for the salon but makes her take public transport. Then Chioma's sister visits and shows a document. It proves Rufus was kicked out of the Nigerian Army six years ago for fraud. He is not a captain. Chioma is shocked. When Rufus returns, Chioma confronts him. He lies but she knows the truth. She breaks open a locked box and finds big stacks of cash from his fraud. Rufus sees her with packed bags. She throws money at him, calls him a fraud and wicked man, and says she is leaving forever. Despite his begging, Chioma walks out. The movie Paid In Full ends with her leaving in a taxi as Rufus stays alone and broken by what he did.
