The Housekeeper

Ziora, a Lagos socialite, discovers her bank account holds only 20,000 Naira after blowing through the 4 million she got from selling her car. She owes Fab Cloze 450,000 Naira, so public humiliation looms, and her friend Diamond urges her to confront her spending habits. Desperate for money, Ziora agrees to rent out her house through Mr. Balogun, but the new tenant, Owen, insists on a live-in housekeeper. She has no choice but to pose as her own housekeeper when Owen arrives. She struggles to adapt to Owen's strict rules, clashing over cooking, cleaning, and her perceived extravagance. Despite the friction, they begin to bond through shared moments, dancing, and conversations about work and life. Jessica, Owen's ex-fiancée, shows up and reveals Ziora's true identity as the estranged daughter of billionaire Chief Alfred Ume, and Ziora's lies about her past come out. Owen feels deeply betrayed by the deception, so he confronts her about her father and hidden background. He storms out of the house, leaving Ziora heartbroken and alone, and then moves to a hotel and cuts off all contact. Ziora is devastated, unable to reach him, but her friend Diamond tries to console her, and she starts to pick up the pieces of her life. Ziora rebuilds herself, getting a job through a friend, and later she launches her own shortlets business, Zora Shortlets. Two months later, Owen returns, posing as a potential tenant interested in renting the house. They reunite, embrace, and reconcile, and Ziora is now a confident businesswoman. As they hold each other, Ziora receives a phone call from her father, signaling that her family has forgiven her and reconnected.
