In Sugar And Spice, Juliet is a marketing expert and single mother to Erica. Erica, 22, sees a dating app love story and begs her mother to try again, but Juliet is tired of blind dates. David, a younger man, keeps pursuing her, and she rejects him until best friend Mandy convinces her to accept his attention. Dinner goes well, David admits he likes mature women, and they sleep together that night. Juliet confesses guilt to Mandy, unaware David is the boyfriend of Elena, one of Erica's closest friends. Elena has been trying to win David back and has even appeared at his house with a key to call their breakup a misunderstanding.
