Tony, a man with no real wealth, proposes to Eve at a restaurant, and she accepts, calling her friend Halima to plan the wedding. She pretends to be poor to match his lie. Tony, still believing Eve is wealthy, insists she work and tries to get her to sell snacks with him. Meanwhile, Eve learns about Tony's passion for coding and his dream of developing an app. Their relationship slowly transforms as they share vulnerable moments. Eve, unable to bear the deception any longer, reveals the truth: she owns the company and has been wealthy all along. She explains that she and Halima orchestrated the test after overhearing his original confession. Tony is stunned and devastated, realizing he has lost her trust. He admits he was wrong and confesses that he has fallen in love with her genuinely. Eve is moved by his sincerity. Tony proposes again, this time with honesty, and Eve accepts. They reconcile and celebrate with their friends, including Halima and Ben. Tony gives Eve the engagement ring back, and they embrace, the couple happily together after the lies have been overcome.
