Storyline
Aisha, a married middle-class woman, deeply struggles with childlessness and the resulting marital strain caused by a traumatic past experience. In an act of profound devotion, her lifelong best friend, Shiko, steps in and volunteers to be a gestational surrogate. However, once the In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) procedure succeeds, Aisha undergoes a massive psychological breakdown and change of heart, demanding that Shiko terminate the pregnancy. Abandoned, deeply hurt, and feeling weaponised, Shiko refuses, sparking a devastating legal, cultural, and emotional conflict that fractures their sisterhood and threatens to destroy everyone involved.
