Fruit Covenant

A family mired in poverty sees little hope until the wife takes a job as a housekeeper for a wealthy woman who shows her a luxurious home and stresses the importance of neatness. The husband's tricycle, which he relies on for work, breaks down repeatedly, draining their finances. In FRUIT COVENANT, their situation deteriorates further when the tricycle is confiscated by a task force, leaving them destitute. Desperate for a way out, the wife is seduced into a secret ritual group led by her employer and makes a terrible covenant: she trades her family's well-being for sudden prosperity. Soon after, her children begin falling mysteriously ill, and she is haunted by disturbing nightmares that signal the cost of her pact. A woman from the ritual group confronts the employer, begging for the covenant to be undone as her own children are suffering. The employer coldly refuses, showing no mercy. The wife, now tormented by guilt and fear, decides to confront the ritual group directly. She invokes Jesus in a spiritual battle against them, but the effort overwhelms her, and she collapses into a comatose state. The wife remains unconscious, lying motionless as her daughter discovers her and calls the father. Rushing in, he realizes the wealth they gained came at the price of his family's destruction. He breaks down in despair, holding his wife as the full weight of the covenant's consequences crashes down upon them.
