Where Is My Husband

The movie "Where Is My Husband" begins as Vincent, Isio and their daughter Sarima are evicted from their home by court order. The officers do not listen to their pleas. They move to a slum where Isio prepares Vincent for his waiter job. He arrives late and the manager reminds him of deductions. Vincent serves wrong order and gets fired on the spot with humiliation. At home Isio tells him Sarima was sent home from school for unpaid fees. Vincent is comforted by Isio. Isio's mother visits with food and encourages them. Vincent tries for a loan but fails and begs for his old job. The manager makes him repeat that he loves the job and is not special. The landlord throws their belongings out and they sleep outside. Then Simi, an old NYSC friend, calls and offers a job. She takes him shopping and at the old restaurant she defends him, fires her driver and hires Vincent. In her luxury apartment Simi makes advances. Vincent resists at first but then starts an affair and neglects his family. Isio finds out and confronts Simi but is dismissed. When Sarima falls ill Vincent tells Isio over the phone that he is not her husband anymore. Isio prays hard with her mother's advice. Suddenly Vincent gets a call from Dr Bankole that he is cleared of fraud and gets everything back. He leaves Simi, breaks the perfume and returns home to apologize. The family reconciles and moves out in a Mercedes. Simi comes but Isio tells her off and the people mock Simi. It ends with flashback to the prayer.
