Storyline

The primary conflict stems from their overbearing mothers. Dunni’s mother, Tinuade Coker, represents the loud, newly rich, and fiercely traditional Yoruba upper class. Dozie's mother, Lady Obianuju Onwuka, represents the cold, snobbish Igbo aristocracy, and she deeply resents her son marrying "beneath" his social standing. As the wedding transitions to the reception, everything that can go wrong does. The couple's fidelity is tested when an ex-girlfriend tries to sabotage them, a best man accidentally projects wild bachelor party footage to the entire hall, and an armed robber infiltrates the venue. Through the comedic disaster, family secrets unravel, forcing both sides to set aside their pride and embrace family unity.
