A Nigerian film actress, screenwriter, film director and film producer. Sola Sobowale started her career with roles in The Village Headmaster, Mirror in the Sun, and the Yoruba film, Asewo To Re Mecca. She had her major breakthrough in 2001 with the TV drama series Super Story: Oh Father, Oh Daughter. She has scripted, co-scripted, directed, and produced several Nigerian films, including the 2010 film Ohun Oko Somida. Her role as Eniola Salami in the 2018 political thriller King of Boys is one of her most notable performances, a role she reprised in the 2021 sequel The Return of the King.
