Sweeter Than Ever

On her thirtieth birthday Ify, the driven CEO of fashion label House of Ara, receives a flirtatious call from tech entrepreneur Femi promising a day of surprises. Her best friend Sandra arrives with a cake revealing they share the same birthday and the two women pray together celebrating their sisterhood. In Sweeter Than Ever a flashback shows Kelvin, Ify's ex‑boyfriend and a gifted photographer, returning from Canada with his friend Bayo and admitting he missed Ify deeply and intends to win her back. Femi delivers a saxophonist serenade a spa day a photoshoot and an intimate dinner where he asks for her answer to his proposal that night, and Sandra and Bayo bring Kelvin to the birthday dinner sparking a confrontation that forces Ify to retreat. Later Kelvin is hired to shoot House of Ara's Rebirth collection leading to charged encounters and nostalgic drives. A near reconciliation occurs at his mother's house where they share a meal of eba and a kiss. Femi grows impatient for commitment, and Chika briefly dates Kelvin adding further complication. Ify discovers the date and a furious argument follows prompting her to return a promise ring and declare their chapter closed. Sandra confronts Ify urging her to choose between Kelvin's chaotic passion and Femi's steady devotion. Ify breaks down torn between the man who makes her feel alive and the man who makes her feel secure. Kelvin devastated considers leaving Lagos but his mother intervenes forcing a moment of clarity. On Christmas Day the entire circle gathers in matching pajamas. Kelvin seizes the moment kneeling before Ify and proposing with a heartfelt speech that names her his CEO sponsor everything. Ify accepts tearfully declaring she is already his wife. The group erupts in celebration dancing singing carols and toasting to new beginnings, and the film closes with Ify and Kelvin forehead to forehead playfully negotiating their future family size he wants seven she counters with fourteen.
