Single Dad

Tony ends his three-year engagement to Jasmine after telling her he has found his missing rib in Ella. Jasmine resigns her dream job and loses her company-provided home and car in a single spiral. In Single Dad, Frank, a widowed doctor and single father to young Daisy, maintains a pragmatic arrangement with Precious, a content creator who fills a mother figure role for Daisy without romantic commitment. Frank accidentally hits Jasmine with his SUV during a moment of her acute distress and rushes her to the hospital. Frank realizes Precious swapped the medication to frame Jasmine and rushes to Jasmine's hotel to apologize deeply and propose marriage. He asks her to be a permanent part of their family and overwhelmed Jasmine accepts before they return home together. The new family unit settles into a rhythm of healing and joy as Daisy embraces Jasmine as her stepmother. Frank honors his promise to move at Jasmine's pace while the household adjusts to the changed dynamic. In a final reflective moment Jasmine addresses the audience.
