Chief rules his opulent Lagos mansion with new wife Rita, daughter Sarah, and maid Benita, his eyes shielded by medicated glasses since the crash that took his first wife. When two thousand dollars vanishes from Chief's briefcase, Rita points at Benita and the search turns up the cash in Benita's room. Benita swears she was framed. The optometrist examines Chief's glasses and warns someone has ground the lenses to steal his sight. A needle turns up in Chief's hat. His car key goes missing. Benita and a woman in a green dress meet in shadowed corners, counting millions they have already siphoned and plotting to bleed the rest before they vanish. Uju walks in on Benita urinating standing up and the disguise collapses — Benita is Pious, the failed inventor who has been living inside the mansion all along. Chief roars for his removal, but Rita and the others beg mercy and he relents. The doctor confirms the glasses were engineered to cause blindness. In a locked room, the woman in the green dress and Pious toast their success: they have manipulated Chief, stolen his money, and plan to milk his hidden billions dry before fleeing to a new life. Rita learns Chief sits on a fortune in dollars and weighs staying to drain him against leaving with her true love. She and the older woman seal a pact to remain in the mansion and keep extracting his wealth. The screen cuts to black as the two women shake hands over the chief's unconscious form.
