Lies We Tell Ourselves
When a reformed player meets a woman who buried her party past under a cross, their fragile union crumbles. In 'Lies We Tell Ourselves,' Fola and Dera marry quickly, each hiding a truth—his secret drinking, her wild nights. As Pinky resurfaces and accusations fly, the couple's hypocrisy tears them apart, leaving Fola to confront Dera's father and a house divided. Now, with Dera back at her father's home and divorce on the table, only a raw confession can bridge the gap between their carefully constructed lies.

Storyline
Fola's hunger for a good woman leads him to the pews, where Dera's bowed head and soft prayers promise redemption. He courts her with devotion, proposing in front of her grateful father, and they marry in a haze of hope. But the tongue that recites scripture by sunlight also hungers for whiskey by moonlight. Fola hides his own drinking while Dera's old friend Pinky pulls her back into the night—the clink of glasses and the thump of bass become their new liturgy. Late returns and drunken accusations splinter their peace, each one pointing fingers while concealing their own poison. When Dera's father visits, he pulls Fola aside and reveals the daughter he knew before: a party girl who merely traded sequins for a halo. Fola confronts Dera, and their home becomes a warzone of thrown words—hypocrite, liar, fraud. She flees to her father's house, and the word divorce hangs between them like a guillotine. Alone, Fola stares at the bottles he hid, and Dera stares at the empty prayer corner she built. Pride blocks every door. But time dims the sting. Fola arrives at her father's doorstep, not with a bouquet but with a confession—he pours out his lies first, then his love. Dera meets him on the step, her own walls crumbling. She admits she never shed her old skin; she just turned it inside out. They embrace, not as saints but as two people tired of masks. The promise they make isn't for perfection, but for honesty—even when it burns.
