Homeless Luck

Lilian, a dedicated nurse, returns home to discover her longtime boyfriend Julius in bed with her friend Kim. The betrayal escalates when Julius casually proposes to Kim in front of Lilian, dismissing their years together. Devastated and suffering from a severe headache, Lilian encounters a disheveled homeless man named Linus begging on the street. Initially repulsed, she relents and invites him home for a meal, learning he is an American citizen robbed of his passport, money, and phone, abandoned by his uncle. Moved by his plight, Lilian extends extraordinary kindness: she feeds Linus, provides clothing, a phone, arranges an eye examination, and secures him a security job through a friend. Linus, now going by Link, begins work and the two develop a deep, tender bond marked by domestic intimacy and mutual care. Lilian's rent is mysteriously paid in full, and she investigates but finds no answers. Link travels to his ancestral village to meet his uncle, where he is introduced to his late father's properties and learns he owns the Link company. He returns to Lilian and they finally confess their love for each other. On Lilian's birthday, Link orchestrates a grand reveal: he arrives in a luxury car, blindfolds her, and presents her with a brand-new vehicle. The moment is interrupted by Julius and Kim, who arrive to mock Lilian for bringing a homeless man into her life. Link shatters their ridicule by declaring he is not poor but the owner of the Link company, and that his homelessness was a circumstance, not his identity. He pays off her rent, secures her future, and confronts the couple with his true status. Julius and Kim are ejected from the property. Link and Lilian share a quiet moment in their home, now hers by his gift. He whispers that this is her home now, and they embrace, kissing as the film closes.
