Mr. Lawal lays Sam off at the office over distraction from personal problems. A call sends Sam to dialysis with his son Nosa, where the doctor says the treatment is no longer enough and a kidney transplant must happen within six months. Itoro, an event marketer, assures a client that the product launch will succeed and the bloggers will be paid. With no wage, Sam turns his car into an unofficial taxi. One day he picks Itoro up after her appointment is cancelled, and she argues about the high fare but gets in. At a stop she asks him to wait, and he stays far longer than the twenty minutes she promised. The doubled fee starts a heated argument. At home, Vivian helps look after Nosa, and Sam cannot cover the weekly dialysis bills or the twenty million naira surgery. Itoro sent a client's one million naira deposit to the wrong account, and her client threatens police if the bloggers are not paid by Monday. She cannot reach the stranger, but the stranger is Sam, and he returns the full amount. Itoro calls to thank him and asks for his address. When they meet, she learns about Nosa and apologizes for their first ride. Itoro proposes a GoFundMe page, and Sam hesitates but agrees because he needs the money and he is wary of the exposure and of what he feels for Itoro. In Gift Of Love, the fund reaches one million naira, and the two kiss. Itoro posts a video about Nosa online without Sam's permission. Sam bursts in and asks how she could turn his son into a beggar on the internet. He reminds her she promised to publish nothing without his approval. Itoro says she knew he would object and that she had to act for his family. Sam says Nosa is his family, not hers, and leaves her alone in the bedroom. The campaign gathers thirty million naira, more than the surgery needs. Itoro tells Sam she found an apartment and will move out in three weeks. Sam apologizes for what he said and asks her to stay because Nosa and Vivian enjoy having her around.
